Delcy Lagones de Anglim
ADRC Executive Director and Founder

Delcy Lagones de Anglim is a highly experienced and respected international dispute resolution practitioner. Having graduated with Honours in International Trade Law in Peru, Delcy built a thriving international trade law practice before relocating to Australia, where ADR was just taking off.
Delcy was instantly drawn to ADR. Starting in community and family mediation, she quickly recognised the potential to apply mediation techniques to commercial and international trade disputes and has for 25 years been successfully using mediation to help investor and state clients across a range of industries to resolve technically, financially and politically complex disputes. She has found that mediation offers the client a cheaper, faster and, at its best, amicable resolution, saving the important long-term relationships so often destroyed in arbitration and litigation.
Delcy’s grounding in family dispute resolution, dealing with hitherto intractable, highly sensitive and deeply personal issues, has been invaluable when addressing business disputes, the depth of which too often goes unrecognised, to the detriment of achieving lasting solutions.
Delcy has worked for the United Nations in Cambodia and was a dispute resolution consultant with the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman of the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group. She has lived and studied in Italy, France, Switzerland, Cambodia and Peru and has travelled extensively to promote the benefits of mediation in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Hong Kong, Macau, Chile and Peru.
Delcy was instrumental in developing Peru’s Conciliation legislation, and trained Peru’s first conciliators in 1998. She encouraged the development of the Commercial Mediation Law in Vietnam and trained the first cohort of 350 mediators. Delcy’s Mediation Manual has been translated and adopted as the text for mediation courses internationally, including in Chile, Peru and Vietnam.
Delcy has received numerous awards in recognition of her work.
Delcy is a Certified Mediator with the International Mediation Institute (IMI).
In May 2024, she was appointed by the President of the World Bank to the ICSID (International Centre for Settlement of International Disputes) Panel of ten mediators globally to resolve Investor-state disputes.
Tom Stodulka
ADRC Senior Partner

Tom Stodulka has been a lawyer for over forty years and is accredited as a mediator in Australia, PNG, China and India. He was fortunate to have been mentored by Sir Laurence Street and continues to promote Sir Laurence’s philosophy of ADR as additional rather than alternative.
Tom has a reputation as an empathetic and skilled mediator. He is as comfortable mediating a neighbourhood matter as a multi-million-dollar commercial dispute with a room full of lawyers. He is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and has had 20 years’ experience as a coach and assessor of new mediators. In 2013 Tom received a LEADR excellence award for his contribution to the practice of mediation in Australia. Tom and Delcy trained together as co-mediators in Canberra in 1994.
And a global network
that spans all populated continents
From Africa to Asia, South and Central America, Australia and Europe, ADRC has networked to find the brightest young minds and most experienced practitioners. Wherever you are located we are certain to have an Alternative Dispute Resolution practitioner ready to help. We also travel our practitioners around the globe to wherever they are needed to ensure everyone, from government-level authorities to large or small businesses, can receive the support they require throughout their dispute resolution process.
